Royal Mail
Royal Mail Group plc is a public limited company wholly owned by the Government. Every working day Royal Mail collects process and delivers around 84 million items to 27 million addresses. They serve 28 million customers through a network of Post Office branches and deliver some 337 million parcels a year through Parcelforce Worldwide and General Logistics Systems.
Since March 2001 they have undergone a huge transformation and invested in the modernisation of the business. The business is all about people and it is key to continue developing and improving the relationship with their staff.
Two key business Issues that were identified was to introduce a Learning Management System and Performance Management to the management population within the organisation and leverage the benefits company wide. This was to be via a single point of access for all learning and development needs for up to 180,000 users.
Modules Implemented have included a complete Learning Management suit with additional custom reporting and a custom HR Interface. This was followed by the introduction of Performance Management and a single, consistent place for learning with reporting, company wide with the convergence of data and systems to single point of access.
